Locate, evaluate, and select high quality open education resources that are most relevant to a given teaching scenario (preferably something that you or a constituent currently teach, or an offering your program would like to develop).

There are many elements that need to be considered when evaluating OER.
Sample Assignment: COOL Collection
The COOL Collection challenges course participants to seek out, evaluate, and annotate Open Education Resources that are relevant to their interests. They then use an online form to to evaluate the resources, attending to multiple criteria. The form writes to an online spreadsheet. In this way, the course participants create a resource that will be useful for the entire class.
